Converse have announced a special ‘three artists, one song’ partnership with the unveiling of their 2012 footwear collection.

The Gorillaz, Andre 3000 and LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy will collaborate on the track “DoYaThing” to celebrate a specially branded Chuck Taylor All Star Converse.

Each group has diven genre defining musical talents and skills across a number of years highlighted by the Gorillaz for the Grammy winning track ‘Feel Good Inc’ with De La Soul for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals.

A free download of the track will be serviced February 23rd on the official Converse site.

Converse’s on-going dedication to the global music community has seen other artists collaborate under the ‘three artists, one song’ hat including indie-pop duo Matt & Kim, Soulja Boy as well as Andrew W.K.
