Nicolas Jaar and Matthew Dear have admitted recently in an interview with Mixmag that they are collaborating, revealing that they are 50% way through a new track.
Matthew was the one who dropped the details stating ‘”Nicolas Jaar and I have a song that’s about 50 per cent done.” We can’t wait for it to be 100 per cent done.”
Both avant-pop producers have been working hard this year with Nicolas Jaar breaking through in the ambient-pulsing EDM scene, kicking off his sub-label Clown and Sunset as well as offering up a number of edits under the Bluewave series a few months back of hit’s from Missy Elliot and Chemical Brothers.
Matthew Dear has found himself in opening slots for Interpol through the start of the year.
