So don’t crucify me before you read all of what I have to say… but there are only SO many times you can listen to Daft Punk’s Get Lucky. I’m all for it, I think it’s a superb track but I’m itching for May 17 like a teenage boy dealing with crabs. I usually don’t listen to Daft Punk remixes and for those of you not reading this because you decided to bypass ‘another DP remix’ I totally get it.

But from time to time, a name pops up and I think “hey, they would have done a good job at this, at the very least it won’t make my ears bleed”. Once again, I’m right. Drop Out Orchestra don’t do anything heinous and true to their word, this is very much an edit. They’ve added strings and just another dimension to the track. It’s not going to change your life, but it makes putting Get Lucky on repeat a lot less, well repetitive.
