Future Music Festival has delivered the goods once again with a massive line-up for the 2014 festival. After announcing their joint alliance with The Mushroom Group, Future Music has cemented itself as one of the more dominant electronic music festivals in the southern hemisphere. The 2014 edition will host some of the worlds biggest acts from many diverse genres, with Deadmau5, Phoenix and Eric Prydz leading the charge. With tickets now on sale, take a peep at what will be the 10 biggest tracks to hear at Future Music Festival 2014.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – Thrift Shop
After conquering the charts with a number of hits in 2012, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are bringing their ‘Thrift Shop’ phenomenon back on a festival tour. While the relevance of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis in 2014 is questionable, people will still be flocking in to rap along and groove to that catchy saxophone tune.

Kaskade – Atmosphere
The number #1 American DJ will be hitting FMF after the recent release of his new album, and title track ‘Atmosphere’. This track has reached commercial success, and has arguably become a main room house anthem in 2013.

Porter Robinson & Mat Zo – Easy
Porter Robinson has been slaying the global festival circuit and has become one of the most in demand DJs of 2013. His collaboration with Mat Zo will be a definite hit at Future, with its main room keys and driving kick.

Knife Party – LRAD
Knife Party are making a triumphant return to FMF with their own ‘Haunted House’ stage. You can already envisage Knife Party closing the stage with their latest work ‘LRAD’. The track features the same Knife Party style with a more melodic approach and an ultimate festival drop.

Phoenix – Entertainment
French alternative rock outfit Phoenix are gracing our shores in after the release of their brand new album ‘Bankrupt’. With a plethora of quality songs across multiple albums, ‘Entertainment’ will be one of the many stand out tracks from the cool 4-piece band.

Martin Garrix – Animals
17 year old wiz-kid Martin Garrix is making his first appearance in Australia after the release of the highly successful ‘Animals’ track that put him on the festival map. ‘Animals’ dominated the Beatport charts for a number of weeks and smashed its way through almost every DJ set over the American festival season. With a bunch of new releases coming out before FMF, expect an incredible crowd reaction #WhenTheBeatDrops during his set.

Gesaffelstein – Pursuit
This techno bomb is the most recent track from super suave producer ‘Gessaffelstein’. With a hard hitting kick and a crunching bassline, this will sure be a favourite amongst the techno-heads. ‘Gesaffelstein’ will be another must see act on the bill, as he’ll be showing off his new material from his new album ‘Aleph’ full tacklisting here, due out in October.

Rudimental – Waiting All Night
Like most signature Rudimental tracks, ‘Waiting All Night’ features emotionally powerful vocals followed by energetic drum and bass elements. This live performance will see the whole crowd getting in on the action, dancing and singing along throughout the whole set. Having been announced off the back off a successful Australian tour, they will have no problem performing their dynamic live show in front of thousands.

Eric Prydz – Pjanoo
After overcoming a long time fear of flight, the ‘Pryda’ god Eric Prydz will finally be making his debut on Australian shores for FMF 2014. It will be impossible for EDM enthusiasts to miss his monumental set. The jaw dropper of the set will undoubtedly be the big-room chords of ‘Pjanoo’, ultimately setting a euphoric closing moment to the festival.

Deadmau5 – Strobe
‘Strobe’ may not be the most commercially successful track from the Canadian, but it is definitely a crowd favourite. The 10 minute track features a beautifully slow and lengthy introduction that constructs itself into a euphorically powerful drop. The track features both ambient and progressive elements that really provides that feel-good moment that you will always remember from a festival. This will be a set you wont want to miss at Future Music Festival 2014.
